Dear Parents,
A V.C.A. parent sent me this wonderful web site on Parenting. I hope it is enlightenment, and encouragement for each of our families. Any parent realizes babies do not come with manuals. I can’t imagine anyone deliberately deciding to do a poor job of parenting but most adults have limited biblical understanding and limited training to do the role according to God’s desire “ to train up a child” in the way he or she should go. Consequently, parenting becomes reactionary based upon memory of the previous generation. Both the good and bad impressions imprinted in the mind of the adult affect how the new parent is going to fulfill the parental role. Please take time to read through this site’s background and feel free to share your insights with me via email, as you are led. May the Lord bless you as you walk through the days where children need guidance and great care to receive the emotional support necessary for them to bloom and reach their God given destiny. As we remember our Lord’s birth I thought it fitting to share this site on parenting.
